Inside Thoughts

Hype and Trends

27 days ago Meta announced its llama3 model and everyone was gassing it up as a contender to OpenAI's gpt4 models. Yesterday, OpenAI announced gpt4o a new model with text-audio-visual modal. Today is Google IO and there is probably going to be a "new" technology the industry will call innovative but then die down to a new hype.

Side note: this is meant to be a rant/tweet but then I hardly tweet and I want to write more

The industry have been moving more trend-craze, and the word innovation is like wrapped around it. And in all of this the society move around this new technology fighting for out attention.

I think the next few years will be this new trendy stuff happening and we are all hyping it up while getting distracted and big corps are like raking in profit.

And honestly these technologies or products are like really good at least to grab our attention. Which is why I am ranting, this people can actually solve problem but then go ahead to create this hyped-up products.
